| King Tut's Tomb at the Luxor
hotel on the Las Vegas Strip is a historically accurate reproduction
of the original burial chambers. It was painstakingly recreated
by leading Egyptologists.
It is just like looking into Tut's
Tomb on the day it was first opened. Most of the artifacts are placed
just as Howard Carter first discovered the Tomb of Tutankhamun in
1922.
Egypt's King Tutankhamen is known
as "The Boy King" because he inherited the throne at the age of
9 and died at age 19. He is remembered for the amazing gold-filled
tomb in which he was laid to rest. The actual treasures of Tut's
Tomb are housed at the Cairo Museum in Egypt.
